Pros:
Mucha was dubbed "The Apostle of the Beautiful and the
Ideal" by the English publication The Poster. Mucha posters are among
the most elegant products of the Art Nouveau period and now they are
among the most elegant desktop themes. The wallpaper is an 800x600 JPG
image set to stretch on the desktop. Sounds are all from Renee Fleming's
CD "The Beautiful Voice" with the English Chamber Orchestra conducted by
Jeffrey Tate. All the icons and cursors are coherently fitting with
surrounding theme parts. Additionally, an extra font, system logo
screens and web view images are included.
Cons:
It's very quiet, maybe even too quiet. The sound files are all here
and it's understandable that an opera based sound is somewhat quieter
than most theme settings but you'll really have to turn your speakers up
to here these. Not having the opportunity to see any of this artist's
original work, it's hard to say but the wallpaper looks like it could
use a little more contrast. Some of the cursors are also a little rough
around the edges.
Overall:
It's fine art for fine art lovers.
